My First Week of College

Image
A darkened and blurred photo of the college I'm currently studying in. It was very easy to find my college based on that picture, so I had to darken, crop, and blur the photo. I can confidently say that the first week (or, in this case, the first 3 days of college) were AWESOME . Man, the TV shows and movies were right, college is (probably) the best part of my life. It's been great so far, I have more freedom in what I want to do. I get to wear clothes that I like (although I still have to follow a dress code, but still, I prefer business attires over uniforms). I get to freely roam around during my long break. When I said "I get to freely roam around during my long break," I really mean it. Heck there are even students who go to malls nearby and even some of them go home. It's a long break, and the institution isn't prohibiting anyone to go anywhere. You can literally go anywhere you want during your long break—that alone is a good enough reason why ...

Divine

This post is long overdue, I know. The song has been around for, oh say, 9 months now and it was in an album that—at first—I didn't even bother to get. Why would I anyway? Sure, I love Girls' Generation and it's my favorite band of all time, but when The Best was announced in May or June last year, I didn't even care about it—seeing it only as a "compilation of songs with no new songs" and that was just it. On April 9, SNSD's new music video was released, Catch Me If You Can . First off, I just want to say that I knew about the whole Jessica leaving SNSD thing, but for some unknown reason, I just dismissed it and the next day, I didn't even notice that Jessica left SNSD. Shortly after watching  Catch Me If You Can , I noticed two things: I missed Jessica's voice (she usually sing all or most of the high notes) and that my eyes were constantly on the look for Jessica—I even counted how many members were on each scene because I wanted to see t...

Reminiscing

Every now and then, I find myself just staring at air, mostly at nothing, and I don't even know why I'm staring in the first place. But, as far as I can recall, I've been starting to miss past events, reminiscing, and just remembering the things I've done and wishing for things I could've done, but never really did. Also, there are those regrets that I've made, choices I've made that negatively impacted my life/relationship with others and I get sort of "extreme guilt" whenever I think to myself, "Hey, why did we do this? Why? What forced us to do this?" And so, I've decided to just spill my feeling out here (as always) on my blog and hopefully someone can understand, or at least TRY to understand the current situation that I'm in. I've also decided to cut this story into 4 parts:  Reminiscing , Regrets , Things I Have Done , and  Things I Could Have Done but Didn't Really Do . In this post, I'm going to start off w...

The Dating Issues

Argh, the Taeyeon dating issues are boiling up again -________-;; Taeyeon is blocking her haters and some of her followers who are currently bashing on her for dating Baekhyun, according to some people. Seriously, can't you people just stop hating Taeyeon (or Baekhyun) and just be happy for Taeyeon (and Baekhyun)? Did she really get treated so harshly to go make this drastic choice? If yes, then I pity the people who can't just like the other SNSD members or find a real girl instead. Just move on from Taeyeon already. She a mature and young adult, of course she can date whoever she wants or get a boyfriend. Just be happy for her and stand by her side, try not to backstab her, by the way. As for me, I've already accepted the fact that Taeyeon is already dating Baekhyun, and I'm happy for the both of them. Sure, the news shocked me at first and almost plunged me into a deep, dark depression; I was sad and I cried for a whole day, to be honest, but I was fine and...

Tiffany's Xanga

Image
Hi, I'm Lance Anderson and welcome to my blog, The Metro Diary . I'm sure you visited this page to see the links to the Xanga blogs  Tiffany  used when she was a teenager. For your convenience,  I'm going to divide this post into four parts : the links to Tiffany's Xanga blogs (and her other accounts), the screenshots of Tiffany's Xanga blogs, the story of her clique in high school, and the story of how I went looking for her blogs. Anyway, I'm going to cut this introduction short so you can finally see her blogs. By the way, I will sort her Xanga blogs in  chronological order  (from the oldest to the most recent). Have fun reading them! I'm Not Alone

I will not cry again, I will not be sad anymore My heart will not be affected by loneliness and sadness again I'm not going to be weaker Even if I'm in a lot of pain,  I will still smile Even if I look more sad because of that,  Don't try to comfort me because I will get back up again Maybe I had to cry sometimes because I was expecting so much Happiness always look larger when its far away When it's difficult, look up to the sky I'm never alone Even if it rains, even if strong wind blows, the sun will shine again On days that are so painful and you cry, try shouting loudly So that the weakening sadness that's approaching will be gone Live for today and tomorrow Do not regret yesterday and the wretch of the day Sometimes I'll run on my own When it's difficult, look up to the sky I'm never alone Even if it rains, even if strong wind blows, the sun will shine again On days that are so painful and you cry, try shouting loudly ...
