Blogging: Then and Now

Image
As you can see from the bar graph above, you'd immediately notice that I have made most of my posts back then in 2014. I was blogging on an almost daily basis back then in 2014. Every time something good happens to me, I would make a blog post about it; the same way goes for the bad things that happen to me. This blog was my diary back then, my own personal friend that I can tell all of my secrets to. Now, things are a little different, and not all of the changes are good. For those who have been reading this blog ever since it started back in 2013, you may notice that most of my posts from 2013 are now gone. Honestly speaking, if I were to count all of my posts published today (excluding this one), it would be around 117. But what most people don't know is that I have 105 posts that are marked as drafts. That's 47% out of all the posts I've made all in all. 47% of hidden content, just waiting to be published. Mind you, 47% is a high number. If you didn't know 4...

Apex 2014 - Day 3: Personal Tumblr Blog

Image
Apex 2014 - Day 3 Man, was this day great. I just browsed the Internet all day without problems. No problems, no error pages, nada, zip. I didn't quite do much today and all I ever did today was just make a new personal Tumblr blog (I can't share it here, sorry) and watch some videos on YouTube. A little research here and there and I've made several updates for my plans for the future. I updated the playlist, just to remind you (: I'll be adding more songs soon~ But anyways, I really don't recall doing much the whole day. I'd like to give a big thanks for all the people who visited my blog today - you guys are awesome for doing that - and I wanted to make some changes and some fixes to this blog today, actually. My original schedule for today was to fix and correct my grammatical errors in some of my post, titles, and on some of the standalone pages here. Seriously, that WAS my original schedule until I got sidetracked by Tumblr. I thought to ...

Apex 2014 - Day 2: Welcome to Tumblr!

Image
This post is part of a series about the things that happened in Apex 2014. What is Apex? It is a 9-day long "meeting" similar to a Summit meeting . It is a time where I gather my thoughts and look back at the things I've done in the past and find out where I went wrong. During this period, I also make several plans and agendas for the things I will do in the near future. About the event Apex starts on the first day of August, August 1, and ends on the 9th of August. On these days, I will be making critical adjustments to my current life, lifestyle, relationships with friends, and so on. Goal My goal is simple: Look back at my life and correct the mistakes I have made so that I will not repeat the same mistakes over again. Welp, it's official. I've finally made a blog on Tumblr! (: Sure, it's got a basic design and it almost exactly looks like this blog. Oh, and I'm not leaving Blogger/Blogspot, I'm just making another blog for no pa...

Ramp Down

College. Ah yes, college. Since I'm a high school senior now, I guess I have to focus more on my chances in applying for a great college, not good, but a great college. This means I have to "ramp down" MOST of my Internet-based activities like instant messaging, sending emails, online gaming, download, playing games, and a lot of other stuff. Blogging is an exception, of course, and so is reading news and articles about Windows, Microsoft, Nokia and the latest advances in technology. I'm seriously going to dedicate over 9000 of my strength to purse my dream of becoming...a good programmer/website designer/graphics designer or whatever job I want to be in. My blog also helped me hone in my skills in webpage designing, even though I was mostly using the Blogger theme editor, it's still a start. Not only that, this blog has also helped improved my fluency in the English language. Even though it's not perfect or "semi-perfect", it'l...

How's the New Design?

I'll make this quick 'cause I don't feel like making a long post now :P It was all of the sudden, I know. I was supposed to launch this theme/design next week but then I thought, "Why not launch this theme now? I don't see anything wrong with it. It worked fine in Adobe Dreamweaver and it's fully compatible with Internet Explorer , Google Chrome , Mozilla Firefox , Opera and Tor Browser , what are we waiting for?" So, yeah, I decided to apply this theme. I just actually made a second revision of the background picture. I "fixed" and added a few "enhancements" to the picture to make it look...good, I guess. And.....welp....that's it. Seeya! [UPDATE] Just out of boredom, I decided to redesign Elaine's other blogs too! I had nothing to do so I switched the templates of her blog, that's why Elaine's main blog has a library-like theme and her other blog (that she doesn't use much) has my Mr Mr theme :D H...

The Restoration of Tiffany's Xanga Blog to Blogger!

Image
I did it. I really did it. I FUCKING DID IT. I REALLY FUCKING UPLOADED TIFFANY'S XANGA BLOG TO BLOGGER! If you don't understand what I'm talking about, please check out the screenshot below or to go my other blog,  http://bbyxinnocenz.blogspot.com/ to see for yourself: I've just uploaded the Tiffany's Xanga blog and edited it a little to comply with blogger standards and whatnot. I'm not yet done restoring it to its "original state" and I've haven't fully recovered Tiffany's Xanga archives so I'm not yet sure when I'll be able to fully restore Tiffany's Xanga blog. Oh well, I'll keep trying to recover her archives. Anyway, you can just visit  http://bbyxinnocenz.blogspot.com/  and see the blog yourself. [UPDATE] By the way, if you visit the blog using Internet Explorer 11, you'll get a snowfall of the letter "X" in black boxes. The good news is, you'll still get the colored sc...

Blogspotting

I've been browsing blogs on Blogger lately and I found out that most of the blogs I've visited were abandoned, dead, but happy blogs. Most (Well, all) of the blogs I've visited are about their respective families, careers and some of them even contain happy memories. It's saddens me to see such blogs being abandoned like that, maybe people just became too busy. Anyways, most of the blogs I've visited were filled with story, they were filled with humor, happiness, joy and other things like that. I envied them, the people who took beautiful pictures and those who had a nice life. I just wish I could write happy or joyful memories in my blog. I could post a few awesome pictures or my surroundings. Tell wonderful stories. Share beautiful moments. Stuff like that. It's too bad though. I see other people writing about how their day was going out so happily, or they got married and there were fireflies in the night, fancy-looking houses, awesome travels to...

*Sighs* I just a message from Jean in WhatsApp (well, she sent it on Saturday, I just didn't reply or I was too bored to care). Anyways, for those of you readers who are viewing this from......4th year Magnesium or Manganese, I don't care about your opinions or comments. Go ahead and think whatever comes to your mind. I made this blog public for a reason, it's to show myself as an individual, to express myself. Think what you wanna think, go ahead. If you think I'm obsessed about Jean, well, think again. You're wrong. I'm not obsessed about Jean, no. Jean's doing just fine, and so am I. I don't want to be bothered with stuff like that. Oh, where were we again? My post, right, of course, why would I forget? It was a great day today, I managed to do a lot of stuff, made my Windows 8.1 laptop faster, yeah, the whole package. About Jean again, if you guys are wondering why I don't mind Jean much is because Elaine, m...
