Tiffany's Xanga
Hi, I'm Lance Anderson and welcome to my blog, The Metro Diary. I'm sure you visited this page to see the links to the Xanga blogs Tiffany used when she was a teenager. For your convenience, I'm going to divide this post into four parts: the links to Tiffany's Xanga blogs (and her other accounts), the screenshots of Tiffany's Xanga blogs, the story of her clique in high school, and the story of how I went looking for her blogs.
Anyway, I'm going to cut this introduction short so you can finally see her blogs. By the way, I will sort her Xanga blogs in chronological order (from the oldest to the most recent). Have fun reading them!

(By the way, I'm not sure if you might be interested in this, but my download manager captured a download/external protocol request from Tiffany's Xanga. I think it's from stephanie in wonderland..* or x [[ y * u * m * m * y ]] x because they both contain a WMA file. Anyways, I just wanted to share the song I got from those two blogs: link here.)

Part 3: Pictures of Tiffany in her old high school group
After months of research and digging through hundreds of Xanga blog archives, I found some pictures of Tiffany and her so-called "PPG group" in one Xanga blog, which is the Xanga blog of her old high school friend and fellow PPG group member, Anabelle Lee.
Part 4: How I found Tiffany's Xanga blogs
Anyway, I heard of Tiffany's Xanga blogs through my local SNSD fan group. And, since I got nothing to do and I had a lot of free time in my hands, I decided to scavenge the web to look for Tiffany's old Xanga blogs.
One odd thing worth noting was this "more" stuff that Tiffany talked about. Here's a snippet of what she said:

Part 4: How I found Tiffany's Xanga blogs
Apparently, looking for Tiffany's old Xanga blogs is extremely hard; moreover, it's especially when you're looking for something that doesn't exist as an "active" webpage. Unfortunately, we can only see the posts on the main page of Tiffany's Xanga blogs, not the older posts because I heard you have to get a subscription or you need to be registered to view that person's Xanga. But still, looking for Tiffany's old Xanga blogs was EXTREMELY HARD.
Internet Explorer crashed several times for no apparent reason, so I had to use Google Chrome.

From what I know, Xanga used to be the Blogger/WordPress/Tumblr back in, like, 2003. Now I guess it's abandoned since all the Xanga blogs I've visited are all gone/redirects to a Xanga 404 page. I sure do hope that they'll release Tiffany's full Xanga archives soon, though I doubt that it will be released because of privacy issues and whatnot.
Anyway, I heard of Tiffany's Xanga blogs through my local SNSD fan group. And, since I got nothing to do and I had a lot of free time in my hands, I decided to scavenge the web to look for Tiffany's old Xanga blogs.
I did some searching and I eventually found some of the links through The L Chat. (Many thanks for those who posted the links there.) Once I was able to confirm the blogs were Tiffany's, I started to read them. I realized that, even though Tiffany posted many of her hardships and "emotional" posts on her blogs back then, she seemed like a genuinely nice kid. A nice, generous kid who loved and valued her friends more than anything in the world. She seemed to love being with her friends and enjoying quality time with her fellow members in the PPG group, and with her other high school friends.
One odd thing worth noting was this "more" stuff that Tiffany talked about. Here's a snippet of what she said:
I feel like I'm in some kind of long dream and I'm waiting for myself to wake up....or am I waiting for something more?
I don't know about you, but I also feel like I'm in a long dream. What got me wondering the most from Tiffany's blog was this "more" in her sentence. What is that "more" she was talking about? What is that more she speaks of? More friends? More money? More popularity? More love?
How did Tiffany know that there was something more?
It's funny how Tiffany and I are of the same age (when she wrote that) and I even find it funny to realize that we're going through the same set of problems. However, she looked like she was much wiser than I.

I don't know why, but I somehow have this feeling that if I solve this "more" puzzle, I will get to know Tiffany's secret for staying optimistic and successful. It's just a hunch, but I guess there's nothing bad to see if there's more to life than just this.
If you've looked and read some of her blogs, you'll see that Tiffany went through hard times and she also missed her old friends. It seems like she really treasured her old friends a lot. Little did Tiffany and her know that she would be an international K-Pop superstar 9-10 years later. I wonder if she still misses her friends from high school.
Because of her Xanga blogs, I found out more about Tiffany than I could ever have. I learned that she listened to some rap, R&B, and some soul music back in the early 2000's, I learned that her dad spent $200+ dollars on her, and I also learned that Tiffany dealt with problems the best way—by staying optimistic no matter what obstacle lay in front of her.
(Also, Tiffany had a Fanfiction account, so she must read fanfictions. Though, I'm not sure if she still uses it; however, I'm pretty sure she doesn't use it anymore. It kind of makes me wonder what genres of fanfiction she reads, I hope she still reads fanfictions about her herself.)
By the way, I think I have found Tiffany's fourth blog; however, I can't really prove that Tiffany owns this Xanga blog because, well, there are no posts. Although her style of writing similar to that of Tiffany's (actually, most of the teen girls in her school had a similar writing style), so I think she must have made this account. I advise you to take this Xanga blog with a grain of salt.

Since this post has gained traction, I've seen a few sites blatantly copying this post. While I obviously allow copying and sharing, please do allot a space for me to mention or credit my blog. Please, if you're going to take something from me, at least leave a thank you note. I believe the content I generated is wholesome and it took me a long time to write and research.
